Who We Are

Our History

In 2023, my husband and I established the A&A Hair Foundation driven by my passion for empowering individuals to feel and look their best. Operating both a hair salon and a hair extension line, I’ve witnessed the struggles of women battling cancer and Alopecia, often forced to endure uncomfortable scarves or ill-fitting wigs. This reality deeply moved me. I felt a divine calling to launch this wig foundation, committed to providing them with premium-quality wigs, enabling them to regain confidence and beauty amidst their courageous battle with cancer and hair loss. By alleviating even a fraction of their appearance-related concerns, I believe it can empower them to face their challenges with renewed strength and determination.

Human Hair Wigs

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with a hair vendor who will be supplying our foundation with 100% human hair wigs. The exceptional quality of these wigs addresses the challenges of finding good hair, especially during times of need. We are excited for the individuals who will receive these wigs, as they will undoubtedly uplift their spirits and boost their confidence. This partnership highlights our shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve, and we couldn’t be more excited about the positive impact it will bring.

About Application

Please note that this is solely the application process for receiving a wig. The application period will begin on 07/24 and close on 10/24. During this process, donors will carefully review each application and select the recipient of the wig. Kindly ensure that you provide all the requested information below when applying.

All applications will be thoroughly reviewed and verified. Meeting all qualifications does not guarantee a wig, as each application is subject to review and availability of resources. Providing false information will result in disqualification from receiving assistance. Additionally, Treatment Status: Must be currently undergoing or have completed treatment for cancer, or have a confirmed ongoing diagnosis of alopecia.

What is A&A Hair Foundation’s status?

Our nonprofit organization is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization recognized by the IRS.

What if I don’t qualify for the program?

If you do not meet the eligibility criteria for our nonprofit assistance program and would like to purchase a wig out of pocket, please contact AFHairco@gmail.com. They will assist you with pricing and provide a consultation for acquiring a wig.

Why can't we accept donated hair for making wigs?

At present, we are unable to accept donated hair, as we lack the means to process and manufacture wigs from donated hair. We solely rely on monetary donations to procure wigs for our clients.

Are all wigs alike?

Not all wigs are alike; each wig is custom-made for every client, with lengths ranging from 8 to 16 inches.
